Wow. I (Heart) NY. Maybe there were things like this posted in papers in EL but I don’t remember them. Does this seem like an oxymoron? And what do you think they’re going to do with $3,900?! You guessed it; new clothes and groceries! No one else on the train found it quite as funny as I did at 7:30 in the morning. (By the way, click on the image if you have no idea what I’m talking about Mom.) Which brings me to my next point:
THERE IS NO TALKING ON THE TRAIN IN THE MORNING. (This rule should be applied to the ride home too but I sometimes feel the need to vent after a long days work and it only fair I extend the same courtesy to other riders.) Or cell phone use. Or even loud headphones. My only joy is knowing they’re slowly going deaf. That might be the worst of them all. It hurts my ears knowing how loud it must be in theirs. Is this a sign I’m getting old? I sound like an ol’ geezer complaining about rock and roll music.
